Art Alternatives Beyond the Gallery

The High Line
The High Line

Traditional Galleries remain the cornerstone of exhibition venues but you may be surprised to learn the increasing number and variety of spaces and marketing opportunities that exist today. This is important information to all artists within all stages of their careers. It is the first in a series of discussions ATOA intends to have regarding alternative sales and exhibition venues. Come join us and together we can discuss, learn and share.

Moderator: Joan Giordano, artist
Panelists:
Gwyneth Leech,
Artist who created work in several Fashion district windows that led to surprising commissions in the US and around the world.
Tsipi Ben-Haim. Executive and Creative Director of CITYarts; an organization which unites children and artists to make a global difference around the world.
Maria Van Vlodrop, Founder of MvVO ART partnering with Brussels-based Accessible Art Fair to create opportunities for artists, collectors and corporate sponsors to discover each other.
Organized by: Cheryl Sokolow & Joan Giordano, ATOA Board members

Did you know that ATOA has over 40 years of art discussions documented on tape? This tremendous archive of contemporary art history will surely help future historians - if it survives! However this archive is recorded on magnetic tapes which desperately need to be preserved. You can make a donation online to ATOA's Archive Fund by charging any amount you wish to contribute on your credit card.
