Phong Bui interviews Irving Sandler

Irving Sandler, critic, author and historian in dialog with Phong Bui, co-founder and publisher of The Brooklyn Rail newspaper. Sandler's A Sweeper Up After Artists, is part of a four volume history. For over fifty years Sandler has been a fixture of the New York art scene, He has been a seminal figure in capturing the spirit of the New York School's action painters and beyond.
